A mini-dress, Sophia Webster shoes and a Tilly Thomas Lux Aurora Headpiece for a London micro-wedding

We’re so close to weddings being able to take place again and I can’t wait! Seeing these gorgeous micro-wedding pictures has been brilliant during lockdown and so inspiring! Beautiful bride Valerie and her new husband Scott got engaged in September 2018 and had planned two wedding receptions for over 300 people (in London and Hong Kong). It’s a sadly familiar story by now but the couple had to re-think and ended up organising a micro-wedding of 15 people at Chelsea Old Town Hall.

“It was planned in under 3 weeks, after re-arranging 3 times and contemplating a secret elopement! In the end, it was exactly as we hoped given the circumstances. We consciously blended English and Chinese wedding customs to honour our roots, with a wedding breakfast and cream registry wedding dress, while guests were asked to wear something red, and the florals were also accented with autumn reds, for luck.”

Valerie accessorised her mini-dress with Sophia Webster strappy sandals and our Aurora headband. She looked so beautiful and so happy! The couple spoke to Rock My Wedding recently so head over there to read more about this lovely wedding.

Congratulations Valerie and Scott!

Love and sparkle,
